Here are 3 WAYS to make an impact with a year end donation!
1. Pay Down The Mortgage
As of December 31st, with normal payments, our mortgage balance will be $1,214,612. With regular payments and continued support, we are on the brink of a significant milestone: reducing our mortgage to under $1 million by the end of 2025!
2. Fund A Week Of Summer BBQ
The Summer BBQ requires 60 volunteers each week and serves 500 people every Sunday. This costs the church $36,000 annually—or $3,000 per week for 12 weeks—to offer it free of charge.
3. Complete The Youth Sports Field
To complete the second and final phase of the youth sports area, we need to install a seasonal irrigation system and purchase mowing equipment, with a total cost of $15,000.

Financial Stewardship At Calvary Corvallis
Being Financially Accountable
Calvary Corvallis is committed to maintaining accuracy and accountability in its financial practices. Our Administrative Pastor, Reuben Wai, provides a monthly financial report to the Board of Trustees, which includes the church's current financial position, detailed statements of revenues and expenses, information and balances of restricted funds, and updates on capital projects.
At the end of each fiscal year, we engage Singer-Lewak Accountants & Consultants, based in Salem, Oregon, to compile our Annual Financial Statements, including a Statement of Functional Expenses. These compiled financial statements are then submitted to First Bank, our mortgage lender, as part of our annual reporting requirements.

Additionally, the church conducts a Biennial Financial Review. In an odd year, after our Compiled Financial Statements are prepared by the CPAs at Singer-Lewak, they are then handed over to be Reviewed. Brenner CPAs, based in Salem, Oregon, are the ones who perform the church's Biennial Financial Review. The most recent financial review was completed in December 2023 by Josh Purrington at Brenner CPAs, with no significant findings. The next Financial Review will be completed in 2025.
