MIDDLE SCHOOL

Who We Are

In middle school youth, students are taught straight from the Bible in a fun and interactive way so that they can grab hold of God’s truth and learn how to live it out in their own lives.

Gathering Times

Sunday Youth Service

Come worship, hear the Word and build community with us at 10:30am in the Youth Room! When we're outside, we gather in the back of the amphitheater on the blankets and then move to the youth room after announcements.

Wednesday Youth Group

We meet from 7-9pm for games, worship, small groups and a short teaching in the Youth Room on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays. You can find us in the Multipurpose Room on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Wednesdays! Be sure to check out the Upcoming Events so you know when we're having a special night!

Highlighted Upcoming Events

Camp is coming up! We've got some exciting and amazing day trips planned. We will be going to the coast, Bullwinkle's, a baseball game and other fun adventures. Camp will be $300 and our sign up is out now.
Who doesn’t enjoy free food and games?! Come play with middle school this summer after church for our three Field Days. We’ll be having lunch together and then playing epic games like, kickball, gagaball, nukum and others. If games aren’t your thing, that’s okay! We’ll have other activities so everyone can have fun. We'll have three of them, the first coming up on June 29th!
6th-8th graders, we're going bowling at the Lake Shore Lanes in Albany on July 2nd from 6-9pm (instead of our normal youth group). It's FREE for you to come and hang out with us! RSVP so we have enough lanes reserved. If you are in Corvallis and would like a ride to/from the church please write that on your sign up.

Summer Reading Challenge!

This summer we’re excited to invite your student to join our “Reading Through the Psalms” challenge. Our hope is that this will be a fun opportunity for you to spend intentional time in God’s word and grow in their walk with Him. With the extra free time during the break, we’re encouraging them to dive into the Psalms (which we’ve been going through this school year).

Each child will receive this colorful reading map, with daily Psalm readings from June 5th to August 31st.  As they hit certain milestones along the way, they’ll earn treats from our store as a fun reward. If they complete the entire challenge, they’ll win a special prize-likely a basket including a toy or stuffed animal, a gift card and a custom activity sticker for their summer fun shirts that we will make at the end of summer party. Parents - for the reading to count, you will need to initial the chapters they have read.

This is more than just a personal challenge, it’s a group effort designed to build unity and strengthen friendships as kids cheer each other on toward the goal. Leaders will be doing the challenge too, walking alongside the kids and encouraging them.
Group Rewards:
  • If 5 kids complete the challenge we will have a yummy dessert at youth group
  • If 10 we will do a pizza party
  • If 15 complete it, we’ll throw a pool party! We’d love your help encouraging your student to participate and stick with it as we grow in God’s Word and community this summer.
To Keep Pace with the Reading Schedule:
  • By the end of June they should have read through Psalm 52
  • By the end of July they should have read through Psalm 102
  • By the end of August they should have finished through the end of Psalm 150
