Day 7
Tonight we celebrated 28 years of Saturday Night Prayer! What started as a small group praying together has grown into the heartbeat of Calvary Corvallis. Every Saturday we gather together to praise God, intercede for those we love and spend time with each other.
This Saturday also marks the conclusion of our Week of Prayer and Fasting and the largest gathering we had this week. Lives have been changed and touched in ways God only knew. Prayers of faith and boldness encouraged hearts and lives. This week always marks a highlight for many people. If you were to ask around, this week also marks pivots in many of our lives. Times when God revealed new plans or changed our plans. Times when He broke the chains and freed us. Times when we encountered His unchanging character. Truly, it's hard to articulate all the amazing things we experienced this week. All the things we saw God do with this family.
There were salvations on Tuesday Night at Real Life. On Wednesday, families brought their kiddos and we had the opportunity to pray for them. Saturday night the youth prayed together. God is doing something special in the lives of the next generation. And it is a joy to see it and get to know these incredible students throughout this week.
As this week closes, we asked the Lord to continue to work on us. To work on the things He spoke to us, things we are still praying for and to continue to grown in our relationship with Him. We don't want this we to simply be a mark on a timeline. We want our lives to be forever changed.

I love you, Lord
And I lift my voice
To worship You
Oh, my soul, rejoice!
Take joy my King
In what You hear
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound
In Your ear
