I was born into an awesome family in Sammamish, Washington. Growing up, I didn’t know God. Deep down, I knew there was something more out there, and it took a friend inviting me to church, over and over again to realize it. I met Jesus in high school, got baptized, and never turned back. I have had my fair share of learning experiences, and I am the first to say that I am imperfect. But now that I know the Lord, I know that His hand has been in my life the whole time, and that we are never supposed to stop growing in our relationship with Him.
I jumped straight in to Real Life my freshman year, and have experienced so much of God’s love through this community. I originally came to Oregon State to play baseball, but I knew God had something else in mind for me. I chose to move on from the sport that I had committed most of my life to, and pursue an even closer relationship with God. Going to school and living in Corvallis has been pivotal in my faith, and I hope I only rely on the Lord more and more from here.
I am majoring in Forestry, and intern at the OSU Research Forests as well. Some of my favorite things to do in my free time are fishing, skiing, playing guitar, and camping.
But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:43-45
